Fine Arts Museum
During the last 140 years the Museum of Fine Arts has
reunited one of the more interesting encyclopaedic collections
of North America, getting to the sum of more than 30,000
objects. Their collections have growth to a large extent
through gifts and donations.
The visitor can find traditional Canadian furniture, religious
and domestic elements, pictures of Jean-Baptiste Roy-Audy
and paintings of natives by Paul Kane. The contemporary
rooms of the museum shows works that include from the
geometric abstraction of Guido Molinari to the magical
realism of Alex Colville.
